Closure and works

The André Malraux MuMa-museum of modern art, inaugurated in 1961 and renovated in 1999, is constantly continuing its arrangements to strengthen the safety of works, the safety of visitors and adapt to the new standards in force.
Thus, to allow interior painting to be carried out and major interventions on the air conditioning system, the MuMa will be partially or totally closed to the public in the coming months during the following periods:

Total closure of the museum

In line with the measures taken by the government to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the MuMa will close:
From Thursday October 29, 2020 at 6 p.m. up until Tuesday December 1, 2020.

The museum's exhibition spaces (permanent collections presented on the ground floor and on the mezzanine) will not be accessible to the public:
From January 18 to February 1, 2021 inclusive

Partial closure

While the exhibition halls will be kept open, certain areas of the museum will not be accessible to the public during the completion of certain works:
From November 12 to December 19, 2020 included for the restaurant (1st floor)
